"My new favorite restaurant!! I found this little gem this Spring, after being pleasantly surprised that they can easily accommodate my gluten and dairy sensitivity for most dishes. Many & most Italian restaurants cannot do this, so I generally omit them from our dine-out choices. They even make me gluten free calamari (with rice flour)!! The food is absolutely delicious and the Owner, Martino, is a great guy who adds a fun and uplifting vibe. I've enjoyed each dish I've had here, as has my partner. Their meat selection is top-notch, from small farm producers. They have a list of specials as well as the regular menu. I've ordered from both and its always delicious but the specials are extra 'special.' To add, Martino always has some kind of treat for his Customers. We've had pieces of a giant Parmesan wheel, as well as a decadent one-bite pasta filled with pear that I have never heard of or had before. It isn't even on the menu. He even has special apertifs. OH! They also have outdoor seating on a cute patio with giant umbrellas. Sitting out here in the warm weather is wonderful although the inside is beautiful as well. I cannot say enough great things about this place. You must go! You won't be disappointed.. and it's even BYOB!"

"Great food, wonderful service. Owner was fabulous! Try the burrata ravioli in a bolognese sauce! Our group had several appetizers including the spiedini and meatball special, and 4 different dinners - everything was great. Highly recommend!!"

"You really won’t find a place with more friendly and generous service than Il Monello. And the food is somehow even better. They start everyone off with complimentary cheese, salami, and a really good eggplant dish with your bread. We got a complimentary appetizer along with the ones we ordered and complementary sorbet for dessert. They were also extremely willing to making substitutions and changing things in a dish for us. Every dish was so good, can’t say anything bad. I recommend the arancini rice balls appetizer and gnocchi for sure!"
