"We were lucky enough to have our friends treat us to dinner at this restaurant. We chose outdoors dining. When we arrived we were greated with a friendly greeting. The food was delicious and the waiters very nice. Dress code looks comfortable but nice. You can also bring your own wine. It was pricey but worth it"

"This is a fantastic Italian restaurant, and certainly the best in the Peapack-Gladstone area (which has some tough competition), in terms of all aspects of dining: food, service, atmosphere. The outdoor garden is dreamy. The cuisine represents a blend of Italian-American and Adriatic traditions. Very refined. BYOB."

"We had a delightful meal recently at Il Monello! The service was excellent - very friendly and attentive- they seemed to appear whenever a glass went low or we wanted anything. They gave us 2 different complementary appetizers while we perused the menu - and then brought out a great wheel of Italian cheese and carved each of us a slice. The meals were delicious- I started with a Burrata salad and my wife had an amazing watermelon and fennel salad. Then I had a wild boar Osso Buco and my wife had a Parmesan crusted Turbot - they were amazing! They let us relax and talk throughout and after our meal, as we finished our wine (BYO - there’s a wine shop up the road). There are several excellent choices in Gladstone but, Il Monello is a bit of an undiscovered gem! We will be back soon!"
