"I moved out of NJ for 6 years and was surprised I couldn't find an Italian restaurant in the area that I felt truly deserved a Five Star rating. Il Monello easily achieves that and is not only the best Italian Restaurant in the area, but one of the best Restaurants period.__The food is outstanding starting with the fresh cheese cut from a gigantic wheel and salami complementary served with the bread and olive oil marinated zucchini. In addition to the plentiful items on the menu ranging from traditional red sauce Southern Italian favorites to Northern Italian seafood and meat dishes, there is usually a long list of specials which give you many reasons to return. To end the meal there are delicious desserts and coffees.__But I have to give a special nod to the customer service and overall friendliness and attentive nature of the staff. They truly make you feel welcome and a valued customer. Also note this is a BYOB establishment so you can save money on the liquor bill by bringing your favorite Italian or even non Italian wines!"

"Amazing fresh Italian food. Owner Martino is very nice and a great character for the place. BYOB. great friendly staff. Inside or outside dining. Been here numerous times and the only regret is I eat too much of their great food!!!"
