"Love this place! I’ve been here 5 times and all of them were 5 stars. The food and service are outstanding. Great for date night. When the weather is nice, they have a beautiful patio for eating outside. The only knock on it is that sometimes it’s a little quiet inside, which can make you feel like you’re the only ones in the restaurant."

"My husband just threw me a 50th birthday celebration at IL Monello Ristorante in Peapack, NJ, and it was an extraordinary experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for a special night. The restaurant beautifully blends elegance with a cozy Italian vibe, making it ideal for such a milestone celebration.
The staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. They helped my husband to plan the menu and even coordinated a lovely surprise for my birthday!
We started the evening with a variety of appetizers, including their famous calamari and burrata—absolutely delicious! For the main course, the group enjoyed a selection of dishes ranging from the rich and flavorful Osso Buco, to the perfectly cooked different fish dishes. Every bite was met with compliments!
This place is BYOB so my husband brought our favorite wines which it's a great option.
IL Monello Ristorante exceeded all expectations and made the 50th birthday celebration a night to remember. I highly recommend this gem for any special occasion. Thank you Martino it's amazing owner for such an unforgettable experience!"

I recently had the pleasure of dining at IL Monello Restaurant in Peapack, NJ, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The decor beautifully captures the essence of authentic Italian charm.
The menu is a delightful journey through Italy, featuring a range of classic dishes that are expertly prepared. I started with the bruschetta, which was fresh and bursting with flavor. For my main course, I opted for the homemade fettuccine Alfredo, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had—creamy, rich, and perfectly al dente.
The service was impeccable; our server was knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive, making excellent recommendations that enhanced our dining experience.
To top it off, the dessert selection is a must-try! The tiramisu was light, fluffy, and the perfect ending to our meal.
IL Monello is a true gem in Peapack, NJ, and I can't wait to return to explore more of their incredible menu. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience!"

"Immaculately prepared and absolutely delicious food. Chicago has some Italian restaurants that I like, however, nothing holds a candle compared to the food at IL Monello.
Each dish was an amazing experience for flavor, texture, and smell. From the appetizer to the dessert, the entire meal was a feast for all the senses.
Unfortunately, our order was slightly delayed compared to our neighbors despite us ordering first. However, this was rectified with a complimentary wine for the table. So service was very good to us that night!
Would come again whenever Mendham reappears in the flight itinerary."
